The Borrowers were experienced local property developers and well known to Sancus. They had completed several successful developments in Jersey and had used Sancus funding before on another project.

The development also comprised a communal underground carpark/basement and communal areas with a gym in a desirable location.

The Borrower was introduced to Sancus by Colliers (Jersey).

The client wanted to repay all outstanding debt to include existing bank mortgages, private lending and expensive credit card debt pending moving to a longer term finance agreement. They were eventually looking to downsize from their current residence which would repay all debt and release equity for wealth management and pension purposes and in the process needed a short term bridge to achieve the first part of their plan.

The Colliers team have had a strong working relationship with the Sancus (Jersey) team since the company was formed, referring a number of loan opportunities and completing on several loans.
